At Websites by Chelsea, we are committed to providing high-quality website design, development, maintenance, and branding services. We strive for client satisfaction, and our refund policy is designed to be clear and fair.
This refund policy applies to the following services offered by Websites by Chelsea:
Website Design
Website Development
Website Maintenance
Branding Services
Please note that all services provided by Websites by Chelsea are generally non-refundable. We invest significant time and resources into each project from the initial consultation and planning phases through to completion. Our commitment is to deliver the agreed-upon services as outlined in your project proposal or package description.
Payment Structure:
Set Packages: Require 100% upfront payment.
Queen Bee Package (Customized Projects): Begin with a $1500 minimum deposit, followed by milestone-based payments as outlined in your specific project proposal.
Cancellation Before Substantive Work Commences:
If a client cancels a website design or development project before any substantive design or development work has begun (e.g., initial concepting, wireframing, or coding), a refund of the amount paid will be issued, less a $200 cancellation fee. This fee covers the administrative time, preliminary consultations, research, and preparatory work already undertaken by Websites by Chelsea.
To be eligible for this partial refund, the cancellation request must be submitted in writing via email to chelsea@websitesbychelsea.com before the project's official start date or the commencement of significant design or development activities.
Cancellation During or After Development:
No refunds or cancellations will be permitted once design or development work has commenced. At this stage, our team has dedicated significant time, effort, and resources to your project, making a refund impractical. Clients are responsible for all agreed-upon payments as per their project agreement.
Project Delays Attributed to Websites by Chelsea:
In the unlikely event that a project experiences significant delays directly attributable to Websites by Chelsea, we will not issue a monetary refund. Instead, we are committed to client satisfaction and will offer compensation in the form of additional services or further project work of an agreed-upon value, mutually agreed upon, to offset the inconvenience.
Client Dissatisfaction with Final Product:
If a client is dissatisfied with the final product, we will work diligently to address concerns through the revision process as outlined in your project agreement. Our goal is to achieve your satisfaction through revisions rather than refunds after the project is completed and delivered.
Website Maintenance & Hosting Services
These services are offered on a month-to-month pre-paid structure.
All payments for website maintenance and hosting services are non-refundable. Clients can cancel their subscription at any time, and no further charges will be incurred for subsequent months, but the current month's pre-paid service fee will not be refunded.
Refunds will not be granted under the following circumstances:
Client "changes their mind" after work has begun.
Client provides insufficient or delayed information, content, or feedback, leading to project stalls or delays.
Client's significant changes to the project scope after work has begun, without additional payment for the increased scope.
Problems or delays caused by third-party services, software, or plugins not directly controlled by Websites by Chelsea.
Client's business closure, change of business direction, or personal reasons unrelated to the quality of our services.
Disputes over design aesthetics after the revision process has been exhausted.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to support@webbychels.com. Please include your project name, invoice number, and the reason for your request.
For eligible cancellations (as outlined in section 3), any applicable refunds will be processed within roughly 10 business days from the date of the approved cancellation. The refund will be issued via the original payment method.
This Refund Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Georgia.
By engaging Websites by Chelsea for our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Refund Policy.
